Getting started
How do we start working together?
Reach out via the contact form or WhatsApp and book a free consultation. We'll talk through what you're trying to do, suggest an approach, and send you a clear quote with scope, deliverables, timelines and pricing. If it works for you, we sign a simple agreement and get going.
Do you take on very small projects?
Yes. We take on focused, small-scope work as readily as full builds — a single dashboard, a quick automation, a one-off analysis. We'll scope it honestly and recommend the most sensible way to approach it.
Can you handle urgent or rushed timelines?
Whenever possible, yes. Tell us your deadline up front and we'll be honest about what's realistic.
Pricing
How does pricing work?
Three simple models: hourly (for evolving or small jobs), fixed price (for well-defined projects), and retainer (for ongoing support). We recommend whichever fits your project and budget. Students and academic researchers get discounted rates.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. Our pricing covers everything in the agreed scope, with no surprises. The only extra costs are third-party services you'd pay for anyway — like hosting or paid tools — and we always flag those upfront.
What payment methods do you accept?
Online bank transfer, credit/debit cards, and UPI. You pay an upfront portion to begin, and the rest as agreed.
Working with us
Do I need to meet you in person?
No. CypherSage is fully online. We're based in India and work with clients across every state, plus international projects where data-sharing and privacy rules allow.
Do I have to sign an agreement?
Yes, a simple service agreement before we begin — it protects both of us. You can sign electronically via DigiLocker or over email.
What's your preferred way to communicate?
WhatsApp, for quick and easy back-and-forth — though email works too. For larger projects you appoint a point of contact and we keep you updated with regular progress reports.
Do you work remotely?
Yes — fully remote. We work with clients across India and internationally over WhatsApp, email, and video calls. No office visits needed.
Who owns the code and deliverables?
You do. On project completion and full payment, all deliverables — code, models, reports, designs — transfer to you. This is covered explicitly in the service agreement we sign before work begins.

Can you guarantee specific results?
We can't promise a particular outcome — no honest team can. What we commit to is accurate, insightful, rigorously-done work that gives you the best possible footing to make decisions.
I'm a researcher — can you tweak data to get the result I want?
No. We hold to strict ethical standards and won't manipulate data to manufacture favourable outcomes. We help you analyse, interpret and present your data honestly.
Can you do my whole research project for me?
We provide data analysis support and expertise — guiding you through analysis, interpretation and visualisation — but we don't conduct academic research on your behalf. The work stays yours.
